    Thanks for this, Hakre! I’ll have to give it a thorough read over the weekend. I’m a Git/GitHub convert, and would love to make the Git-SVN workflow more automated for maintaining my Plugins.

      I want to either for my plugins.I was sticking with Git for WordPress development (Tip by Nicolas Kuttler) for some time but the WP plugin svn is so awfully slow so this one is a very good introduction to use GIT as the primary system and then use the plugin repository for publishing only.
